There is no right or wrong way to change out your favorite Scentsy Scents.  This is the easiest method that I have found and works best for me.  Have another easy suggestion?  Contact me with your idea and you could be featured on my blog!

Ready for the world’s easiest instructions?  No need to take notes.

You will need:

• A Scentsy Warmer
• A paper towel
• A trash can
• 1-2 Cubes of your favorite Scentsy Scent

Step One:  Pour your unscented wax into the trash can.

Tip: Make sure there is a trash bag in it, otherwise you will have a mess in the bottom of your trash can!

Step Two:  Lightly wipe the left over wax out of your Scentsy Warmer Dish.

 

Tip:  Make sure you have a good grip on it so you don’t accidentally drop it.  If you do, no worries, you can purchase a replacement dish!

Step 3:  Break off 1-2 cubes of your favorite Scentsy Bar and place them in your warmer dish.

Tip:  Any more than 3 cubes at a time is a waste.  Only use 3 cubes if you have a Scentsy Warmer in a HUGE (and I mean HUGE) room!

What do you hope to achieve with your Scentsy Family business? Once I finally get settled in 1 place (this summer) I want to make Star Consultant and than work towards the director position.

What is your favorite part about a Scentsy party? Games are always fun, and gets people talking and laughing. Whats more fun than laughing with a bunch of strangers. Ive given away scent circles, bars and even a couple of warmers and buddies! If it wasn’t for my customers I wouldn’t have a business. Waiting for the UPS truck is like waiting for Santa when you are 5…it makes for a LONGGGGG day {or long night in my case because I’m the last neighborhood they stop at.}

I’ve been doing this for quite a while now {3.5 years to be exact} and every single time the big brown truck shows up, I’m like a kid on Christmas morning.  Tearing into the boxes.  Packing paper flying everywhere.  Packaging tape stuck to me.  It never gets old.  Even though I know what’s coming, I still get excited.  Even though I’ve smelled all of the Scentsy Scents over and over and over and over, I still smell every single bar that comes in the order.

Scentsy Family is a company based on Generosity, Authenticity and Simplicity.  The other day, when I was browsing the Facebook group for Scentsy Directors, I saw a post that a consultant received an extra Scentsy Buddy, 2 Scentsy Bars and a Scent Pak with their order as a thank you for being a part of the Scentsy Family.

I thought to myself, how awesome that Scentsy chose a random person to send this wonderful gift to.  Little did I know, their generosity didn’t stop with the one consultant.  Last week, it really was like Christmas.  In 2 separate orders, I received 2 gift bundles from Scentsy – both with notes that read:

Why did you join?  My best friend really wanted me to join her team. But not only that, I ended up LOVING Scentsy more then I would have imagined.

Before you joined, what were you most nervous about?  Having parties and talking to people. But I’ve been getting better at making more new friends.

Have you ever walked into a room and thought to yourself, “That scent reminds me of (fill in the blank?”)  Our sense of smell is linked to memory.  Some scents remind me of being a kid and some scents remind me of things that I experienced recently.

Remember when you bought your first car?  What scent was the first car freshener that you bought to hang on the mirror?

My first car was what we called “The Green Machine.”  A guacamole green cavalier.  2 door.  I was proud of it (for the 3 months I owned it before I totaled it, but that’s a story for a different day) because I bought it with my own money when I was 16.  Back then, I worked at a BBQ Restaurant.  The Green Machine smelled like BBQ, so car fresheners were a must.  Vanilla was my scent of choice (looonnnnngggg before I discovered the amazingness of Scentsy.)

Remember when you moved into your first house?  Which candles did you buy?

Remember when you were a kid and your Grandma made her infamous Baked Apple Pie for Thanksgiving?

Black Raspberry Vanilla, Sweet Pea & Vanilla, Apple Press and Cucumber Lime remind me of when I was in middle school and my friends and I discovered Bath and Body Works.  We had these fragrances in every product possible – lotions, sprays, shower gels, you name it.

Newborn Nursery reminds me of when Sam was a baby and he liked to be cuddled (now when I tell him to give me a hug and a kiss, he runs for dear life.)  It was the only scent I warmed in his room until he was around 1 1/2 years old.  Scentsy Bars, Room Spray, Lenny the Lamb with a Newborn Nursery Scent Pak.  I even had a Newborn Nursery Scent Pak in the diaper bag.

Sugar Cookie reminds me of my Grandma.  She passed away when I was 13, but she always always always had homemade sugar cookies.  She even took some to the lake when we would go during the summer and of course, they would be gone by the end of the weekend.

Snowberry, Camu Camu, and Black Raspberry Vanilla remind me of the day I got my Scentsy Starter Kit in the mail.  After three years, I still remember that I got a Snowberry Scentsy Bar…when they looked like this:

a Camu Camu Room Spray, and a Black Raspberry Vanilla Scent Circle (previously Car Candle).

Enchanted Mist, Leather & Beach remind me of the first Scentsy purchase I ever made, the start of my Scentsy addiction, and what would later become the best decision I ever made.  I didn’t smell the scents before I bought them, I guessed.  I got Leather for Jack, because that’s the only scent he liked (which drastically changed when the UPS guy started frequenting our house).

Lucky in Love reminds me of when my sister worked at Victoria’s Secret…oh how I miss that discount.

They were the very first thing I thought of when I smelled Peppermint Dreams (the second thing I thought about was eating them.)

I always save the best for last.  When I was 18, I bought a stock 2001 Mustang GT with leather seats.  As if it weren’t fast enough already, I made some modifications on it to make it faster and louder.  I loved that car.  The scent of Weathered Leather reminds me of my old Mustang.  That car was my baby for 6 years, until I had an actual baby – Mr. Sam.  Coolest.Kid.Ever.
